The book is described on the back cover as 'A unique 'Royal ragout' flavoured with marvellous photographs, to be dipped into, treasured and, above all, used. With more than 200 full-colour pages of favourite recipes and personal memories of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother from Her friends, members of Her Household, present-day employees of the Castle, and Patrons and Friends of the Castle of Mey.'
