News & Events
Following Government advice on Monday 16 March, The Prince’s Foundation has decided that its places to visit (Dumfries House, Woodlands Restaurant, the Dumfries House Education Centres, The Castle of Mey, The Granary Lodge and The Captain’s House, The Carriage and Rothesay Rooms in Ballater, New Cumnock Swimming Pool, New Cumnock Town Hall and our School of Traditional Arts Centre in Charlotte Road, London) will close at the end of the day Friday 20 March.
We hope you will understand that our priority is the health and wellbeing of all our staff, students, volunteers and visitors, which is why we have taken this unprecedented step.
We have also taken the decision to cancel all public events and activity through to the end of June 2020 with immediate effect. If you are affected we will be in contact in due course. We ask for your patience whilst we process all the relevant bookings and arrangements. If you do have any immediate queries or do not hear from us then please email firstname.lastname@example.org. If the situation changes in any way we will make a further statement.
We thank you for your continued support and understanding in these uncertain times, and we look forward to letting you know about our plans for reopening as soon as we are able.
Update: The estate remains closed until mid-August when this will be under review again.
Further update: Plans to reopen in 2021 are underway and we will announce a date for reopening as soon as we are able to.
