Gardener's Blog: April 2020

While it is nice that the weather is warming up, especially for our keen gardeners out there, we were pleasantly surprised with a blanket of snow at the start of April. 

Head Gardener Chris captured these beautiful snowy scenes on his walk around the grounds. 

The snow never stopped work at the Castle, instead Chris spent his time sowing seeds in the glasshouse.

Chris explains “There are always jobs to do in the garden.  That’s what I love about gardening because you can jump from one job to another.”
