We are delighted to be able to reopen and ask that you read these guidelines thoroughly before visiting.  Please note that our processes and precautions will be under constant review. We will always comply with all Scottish Government and National Tourist Organisations Industry Standards.

Tickets must be booked online before you visit.  The Castle & Gardens of Mey are opening at a reduced capacity to ensure an enjoyable visit for all so spaces are limited.  To avoid disappointment after your journey here, please book in advance.

If you or anyone in your group are feeling unwell and may be displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 please do not visit.  Call us on 01847 851473 for advice.

Visitors are encouraged to stay at least 2 metres from others when possible.  We have implemented a one way system in the Walled Garden and marked out social distancing throughout the Castle tour and Visitor Centre.  Wearing a face mask indoors is mandatory, please bring one with you.  We are able to reopen with full access to the main floor of the castle however other areas are closed for the safety of you and our staff.

For the safety of our visitors and staff we have become a cashless site and request any card payments use the contactless facility when possible.

Our staff have introduced enhanced cleaning measures and hand sanitiser will be provided throughout the site.
